Questions

Where do the figures come from?

Disclosed UK deals, listed company valuations and published adviser surveys, combined with our own judgement. Few private deals disclose a price, so every report states its sample sizes, date ranges and limitations, and labels each point as data or view.

Is a report a valuation of my business?

No. It shows the range that businesses like yours sell for and the factors that move a business up or down that range. Bespoke valuations, based on your own accounts, are coming soon.

How often are the reports updated?

Every quarter, within a month of quarter end.

Which report covers my business?

Each report lists its sub-sectors on this page. If your business spans two sectors, choose the one that describes most of your profit.

Want a figure for your own business?

Bespoke valuations, applying the same methodologies to your own business, coming soon. Register your interest to hear first.
